Recount Film Festival

I woke up excitedly knowing all the Manaiakalani schools were going to the Manaiakalani film festival at Sylvia park to show their movies, quickly I opened the curtain to get a glimpse of the sun shining but all I saw was rain, doesn't matter I thought to myself today is the day I get to see people acting in their school movie.

When I got to school the bell had rung and I went to class to line up and then our teacher Miss Clark came and we left. Then we waited for the four buses to arrive, they arrived at 11:00 and all classes hoped on and we left off to the Manaiakalani Film Festival, on our way to the Sylvia park we went through a tunnel and stopped at lights and went around roundabouts and on our way there we say the junior team leaving back off to school and then we reached our destination at 11:30.

Then we hopped out of the bus and made our way to the closest entrance and strolled on over to the escalator my hand gripping the railing of the escalator, higher we went towards the over sized for event cinemas we all walked into the cinemas loudly and then we made our way to the room where they were holding the film festival I took a while for everyone to arrive and it took us a while to settle down, then it began first a girl from Tamaki College came on and told us what the film festival is and so it started people came on to introduce their film and it went on and on and then it finished.

We started to leave the event cinemas and make our way to the stair yes there was an elevator but instead we were told to go down the stairs some boys didn't listen and some of them got away some of them didn't and then made our way back to the buses and we had to wait in the cold breeze until the buses came to pick us up and on our way back we all started talking about what we like and we we didn't like then we got back to school and carried on with the rest of our day

My favourite film was the was the Wizard of oz land I like how its closely based on the natural movie and novel. Also I like the Me TV that is got all students in it and its got a short horror movie and some music videos and then they all get transported into the TV
